Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the Holy Grail of annual automotive events with hundreds of thousands making their pilgrimage across the world to the ultimate cathedral of motorsport. The nine-turn, 1860m driveway hillclimb in the grounds of Goodwood House has long been a benchmark for automotive giants to flex their technological might by reliving the glory days of Motorsport at Goodwood House that harks back to 1936.

Fielding more than 1,000 cars with young guns Jenson Button, Ken Block and Casey Stoner among motorsport legends Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart and Damon Hill, the field is packed with cars just as special as the icons piloting them. From the ludicrous Aston Martin Vulcan concept, to a fleet of Mazda’s 900hp 90s Prototype quad-rotor racers, to Ayrton Senna’s original MP4 McLaren-Honda F1 Car, there are always plenty of special moments for the crowds to salivate over.

The last few years has also seen the introduction of pro-drifters and super-modified trophy trucks, proving the new boys of motorsport can still gain respect from the thoroughbreds on the technical hillclimb course.

We embarked on the sacred journey to Chichester and immersed ourselves in four days of high-octane ecstasy. Revel in the delight the world’s most famous procession of power.

Welcome to the Festival of Speed.
